You say it's your birthday, it's my birthday too...

Hello you absolute vixens! First of all, let me apologise for my absence. Work has been very full on lately and I've been working towards some exciting new concepts for the Lingerie department, so watch out North London!

Secondly, you may have already guessed from the post title, but it was my birthday today! Yes, I have turned the lovely ripe age of 19. Young enough to get away with most things but old enough to know better. One more year until I'm 20 and then I have no more excuses.

Here are a few pictures from the day...

Me, my brother Kieren, my cousin Lydia and my youngest cousin Mia.

[L-R] Grandma Janet, Gramps, Nanny Hazel, Myself, Great-Grandma Stella, Kieren, Lydia, Uncle Alan, my Dad, Mia, my Mum and Auntie Veronica.

My beautiful sparkly (delicious) cake of love.
Now I will probably do a detailed post of gifts I received, but just quickly, I had to throw this one in. Sorry about the crappy iPhone quality, but my Mum and Dad got me a beautiful Silver and Opal ring. I'm totes in love!

So, I'm in the last year of my teens, and I'm determined to make it memorable. So much has changed since my 18th, mostly for the good, but there are some things that just can't be helped. Here's to what will be a bloody brilliant 19th year.

Love and sparkles always,

When life gets in the way...

I'm not dead, I promise!
Life has just been incredibly hectic lately, what with my show and work. However, I will do my best to make more time for blogging!

Pictured is my wonderful boyfriend Louis and I at a barbecue we had with some of my friends recently, making the most of the short summer we've had here in London!

Festival Fun!

Today was absolutely wonderful. I performed a 30 min acoustic set at ScoutFest, a festival here in North London to raise money for the Scouts! I didn't let the wind nor rain put me off, and I had such a lovely time, not to mention the gorgeous cakes.

My setlist went as follows:

  1. Take on me - A-ha (Anni B Goode's version)
  2. Birds - Kate Nash
  3. Cigarettes - Russian Red
  4. Dog Days - Florence & the Machine
  5. Thieves - She & Him
  6. Neopolitan Dreams - Lisa Mitchell
  7. Nobody's Perfect - Jessie J
I had such wonderful feedback from the crowd and just wish I could have performed tonight too! Unfortunately I'm at a family meal but there's always next year.

Many thanks to Andy and the 19th Enfield Scouts for giving me this opportunity! Also to James for being an excellent sound man, with the cutest baby boy going! Keep rocking that Stella McCartney Jacket and those Hunters dude!
